Centenary Pages updated

The process of cataloguing the 10,000+ photos and videos from the Centenary Event week is ongoing but there is now a two-minute taster trailer on the Centenary website, which includes some drone footage.

We have also published some of the hundreds of messages of thanks that the organising team received following the event. We’ll let you know when more of the images and film are published.

Centenary Event Reports

A7OC were quick off the mark with their reporting of the Centenary Event and there was a very nice article by Dave Waller in their July/August 2022 magazine. It is reproduced with their permission, and can be inspected here

West Lancs PWA7V were equally quick with a comprehensive report by Martyn Griffiths. It is reproduced with their permission, and can be inspected here

Centenary Event – appeal for photographs

The Centenary Event Organisers are assembling an archive for photographs of cars taken at the event.

They have many photos already and are trying to ensure that there is at least one for every car that attended. If you were there and took photos of your own car or others, you may be able to help.

They would like to see photos in which a car can be positively identified, ie. legible licence plate or other unique marking. If you have such photos and have not already contributed any, please contact Tim Griffiths and use the Dropbox link below,

There is a list of car licence plates which they would particularly like to see in a photo which can be viewed as a printable table here: wanted-photos

A7CA will respect all copyrights.
